If you have oily skin, summer is probably the worst season. Your face will be oily, and your powder makeup will run.
There are so many foundations online that it’s really hard to find one that can hold makeup and control shine. Like you, I have oily blemish skin, so the most important thing for base makeup is to control oil! Cover blemishes! Last all day! I have tried a lot of expensive and low-cost foundations, so today, I’d like to share with you the best foundation for oily skin for different budgets.
I hope all beauties reading this post can get flawless, oil-free makeup!
Buy them and have a try, please!
I have oily and blemished skin, and every foundation I’ve used looks so gross by the end of my workday. I usually have to blot my face, and there goes my foundation with the napkin, but the following foundation for oily skin works really well – I hate to tell anyone!
1. Clé de Peau Beauté
I usually like to buy a foundation that is a shade lighter than my face. When applied to the face, the CPB foundation may look a little white, but it looks natural after oxidizing!
It fits well and is medium to above makeup in terms of coverage.
It doesn’t pick at all skin conditions, and one time, I had an allergy; I didn’t feel any discomfort after using it!
Oh, by the way! One more important thing! Surprisingly, it will feel better on your face after the oil comes off! It makes your makeup look better as the day goes on!

2. TOM FORD (Traceless Soft Matte Foundation)
I didn’t buy this foundation; a friend gave it to me, and she thought it was so good that she had to give me a test.
For my crazy oil face in summer, this Traceless Soft Matte Foundation almost makes me cry! MHM… Really, my friends can’t tell I’m wearing foundation after I put it on! That’s right! It’s just so natural!
It makes my skin look soft, clean, and delicate as if it had entered a dermabrasion filter in TikTok!
Every time I look in the mirror after putting this foundation on. I lean forward, and I pause, can’t wait to tell myself: “Oh my goshhh…I am so fab!”

3. Estée Lauder
Amazing foundation! This is the best foundation for oily skin for me!
A Sephora employee helped me pick a foundation and introduced me to this one. I wasn’t very into it because it was pricey, but I immediately had to get it after seeing my face. It feels wonderful, and it’s light.
It lasts all day, and you only need a little coverage! I’ve been using it for years, and every time I try something else, I always reach for this foundation again!

4. Bobbi Brown (Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation)
My new fav!! This will also be one of my go-to’s for the summer.
It has a lightweight feel on the skin, which is great for the hot weather. However, the coverage is great, with minimal pumps.
For people who say it’s very thick and makes lines more visible, try using less and building up gradually. That way, you’ll have more time to blend it before it dries up on your face.

Although these are not as amazing as the above three foundations, they are also very effective!
1. Yves Saint Laurent
This product looked like a filter on my skin! Stayed on all day, weightless feel. All of you deserve to feel as pretty as I did with this on my skin!
It’s skin-like and lightweight, with just enough coverage. It’s also very long-lasting! It stands up to my oily skin and the Florida heat very well.
I like how it looks and feels, but it smells like hairspray.

2. LancĂ´me
This foundation is medium coverage, so it leaves you with a super natural look rather than being overdone. This also means it doesn’t clog up your pores and is breathable, not cakey.
This new version is thinner. And the coverage is not as good, if you add more, it looks bad. I tried to trick myself into being okay.

3. NARS
I have many acne scars. However, this best foundation for oily skin leaves a glowy base and covers them all while maintaining a skin-like look.
After reading some people’s reviews, I was worried about the pumps; however, I have had no problems.

If you’re a student on a tight budget or don’t want to spend much on a foundation, consider the following. But a warm reminder: Certainly not as good as an expensive one.
1. Maybelline
I like this foundation, but only with certain base products underneath.
If I use it with the wrong moisturizer, it sometimes looks a little bit powdery.

2. L’OrĂ©al Paris (24 Hour Fresh Wear Foundation)
The coverage was great, and I definitely stayed on for the whole day.
I would not recommend it for mature skin because it makes wrinkles more noticeable.

3. Fenty Beauty
I like the product’s weight, but you do have to build the coverage.
It’s the best foundation for oily skin but not meant for dry skin.
